Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services U.S. is hiring a Tactical Security Officer with a flexible schedule in Milpitas, CA. You will patrol, observe and report on activity at assigned sites, indoors and outdoors, and respond rapidly to incidents.

The role requires a valid BSIS Guard Card and five years of security experience, plus the ability to commute across Silicon Valley. A comprehensive benefits package and uniform are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid BSIS Guard Card and 32-hour security training.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Minimum five years of security experience.
• 21+ years old; baton, OC spray, and handcuff permits.
• Willing to commute to multiple Silicon Valley sites.

Responsibilities

• Observe areas and report on activity at assigned site.
• Work indoors/outdoors in variable environments.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed incident reports.
• Enforce procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Patrol sensitive areas and detect suspicious activity.
• Detain and search when required.
• Respond to alarms and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Ensure safety of people and property.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
