Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services in Carmel, IN is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to patrol diverse environments such as retail stores and airports. You will read surroundings, anticipate risk, and act accordingly while working the 2nd shift, 2 p.m.

to 10 p.m., on a full-time schedule with a wage of $25.75/hour and DailyPay available. Responsibilities include patrolling, validating identities, controlling access, reporting incidents, and coordinating with law enforcement when needed to ensure

• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check alarms and cameras for proper functioning
• Document incidents and actions taken

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• Must possess one or more of the following:
  • Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
  • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
  • Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
  • A minimum of 4 or more years of active service in any military branch v. Associate degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
