Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer to operate across environments such as retail stores and airports. The role requires strong situational awareness, risk anticipation, and decisive action while patrolling and remaining mobile throughout shifts.

You will patrol, verify identities, respond to threats, monitor alarms and cameras, document incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred
• State license if required

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check alarms and cameras for proper function

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

What’s in it for you:

• Site Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Set schedule: Mon- Fri 11pm- 7am (40 hours per week)
• Shift 2: Mon- Fri 3pm- 11pm(40 hours per week)

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
