Job summary

Arcata Associates, Inc. is seeking a TDL Field Engineer to install, operate, test and maintain Joint Data Network and Link-16 systems. You will support JDNO/JICO and ensure proper integration of JDN equipment across platforms.

The role requires 4+ years in field engineering, familiarity with Unix/Linux networking, Windows upgrades, and the ability to deploy to remote sites. A Top-Secret clearance with SCI is required. Night/weekend shifts and travel to remote locations may be necessary.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in engineering/computer science or related technical discipline, plus 4+ years of technical experience.
Must qualify for Top-Secret security clearance with SCI.
Experience with Tactical Data Link/BC3 and Link 16 operations at JTDS 101 level.

Responsibilities

Install, operate, test and maintain JDN/Link 16 equipment.
Coordinate with JICC watch officer, JDNO and JICO for system admin matters.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
Configure Link-16 host and related hardware such as JRE, LMMT, JTRS, SADL, THCs.
Operate networked Unix/Linux systems and perform Windows OS upgrades.
Travel to remote sites to maintain or operate equipment; support exercises.
