Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in athletic training from CAATE-accredited program.
• Unrestricted state license/registration/certification required.
• Minimum two years of relevant athletic trainer experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for units at brigade, battalion, or company level.
• Provide forward MSK care, injury prevention, and performance optimization in various settings.
• Ensure treatments are supervised by a licensed healthcare provider.
• Observe training events and field environments.
• Occasionally carry supplies in austere environments (<20%).
• Maintain BLS certification with AED as required.
• Communicate with trainees and staff in English, orally and in writing.
• Maintain CAF documentation and licensure renewals.
