Job summary

KBP Brands is seeking a Restaurant General Manager in Virginia to lead daily restaurant operations and drive profitability. You will recruit and develop team members, manage inventory and cash controls, and ensure a consistent guest experience with a quality product.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a Restaurant General Manager in food service or retail, with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift/move heavy objects, stand/walk for shifts, and operate restaurant equipment.

• Drive profitability by cash control, inventory, labor, and financial review.
• Recruit, interview, and hire Team Members, Shift Managers and Assistant GMs.
• Coach and train employees to achieve operational excellence.
• Conduct inventory counts every other week.

As a Restaurant General Manager, you’ll also be eligible to participate in a bonus program, which is paid out every period, based on your restaurant’s performance.

What a day in the life for a Restaurant General Manger can look like:

• Drive profitability by managing cash control and security procedures, monitoring inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking action as needed.
• Recruit, interview and hire Team Members, Shift Managers and Assistant General Managers.
• Coach and train employees in operational excellence to ensure restaurant success.
• Conduct inventory counts every other week.
• Maintain a clean restaurant and ensure every guest enjoys a friendly experience with a quality product.

What you bring to the table:

• At least one year of experience as a Restaurant General Manager in food service or retail, with profit and loss responsibility (quick service experience preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, safely maneuver through compact spaces, and operate restaurant equipment.
