Job summary

FabLogix, a state-of-the-art pipe fabrication facility in Duncan, SC, is hiring Tack Welders to join our growing team. This role focuses on precision tacking, assisting fitters, reading isometrics, and maintaining quality in a fast-paced shop environment.

Expect a day shift with overtime availability, $25 per hour, and a $250 referral bonus plus PTO and benefits for direct hires. Ideal candidates have pipe shop experience and can pass the 2” Monster Coupon test in the 6G position.

Qualifications

• Prior pipe shop or field tacking experience preferred.
• Must pass a 2” Monster Coupon test in the 6G position.
• Root and fill to flush.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform tack welding on pipe spools and fittings per specifications
• Assist pipe fitters with pipe prep, fit-up, and alignment
• Read and interpret isometric drawings
• Ensure proper joint preparation prior to welding
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
• Maintain quality standards and production timelines
