Job summary

FabLogix in Duncan, SC is seeking a Back Pipe Welder for a day shift direct hire. You will fabricate and weld pipe spools for cooling systems for data centers, reading isometrics and 2D spool drawings, and ensuring welds meet WPS specifications.

Candidates should have strong welding knowledge with GTAW/FCAW/GMAW/STT, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and pass required weld tests. Position offers $30–$35/hour, per-diem, PTO, health benefits, 401(k) with employer match, and career advancement

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of welding processes and procedures to ensure quality welds.
• Hands-on experience with GTAW, FCAW, GMAW, STT.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or less.
• Must be able to pass weld tests: 6G 2” Carbon Steel Monster Coupon (Radiograph or bend test) and 6G 2” Stainless Steel Schedule 10 (Visual test only).

• Follow all required PPE, safety policies, and procedures at all times.
• Weld fabricated pipe spools in accordance with customer specifications and required WPS.

• Weld various materials while maintaining strong quality and consistency.

A state-of-the-art facility in Duncan, SC is hiring Welders for a day shift opportunity. This role is a direct hire position. Pay is $30–$35/hour, based on experience and weld test results. FabLogix is a shop environment where you would be prefabricating pipes for cooling systems for data centers. This position requires you to be comfortable fitting pipes for natural gas lines.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding work under direct supervision of the Welding Supervisor and Shop Superintendent
• Follow all required PPE, safety policies, and procedures at all times
• Weld fabricated pipe spools in accordance with customer specifications and required WPS
• Read and interpret isometrics and 2D spool drawings
• Determine and use the correct WPS for each weld being produced
• Weld various materials while maintaining strong quality and consistency

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with:GTAW, FCAW, GMAW, STT
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or less as needed
• Must be able to pass the following weld tests:
  • 6G 2” Carbon Steel Monster Coupon (Radiograph or bend test — must pass)
  • 6G 2” Stainless Steel Schedule 10 (Visual test only —no I.D. color allowed)

Preferred (not required, but a plus):

• Ability to operate mobile equipment as needed
• Experience inautomatic welding
• Ability to understand Radiographic Testing (RT) overlays
