Job summary

Kelso Industries’ FabLogix facility in Duncan, SC is seeking skilled Welders to support fabrication of piping systems and mechanical assemblies. You will perform high-quality welds in accordance with drawings, specifications, and WPS requirements.

Requirements include 2+ years pipe welding experience, pass 6G coupon tests (2” carbon, 6G; 2” stainless 6G), GTAW TIG proficiency, ability to read welding symbols, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of pipe welding experience.
• Must pass: 2” carbon monster coupon in 6G position; 2” schedule 10 stainless steel test in 6G; GTAW (TIG) all the way out.
• Additional testing includes GMAW and FCAW in 6G on 6” carbon pipe.
• Ability to read welding symbols and WPS documents.
• Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel.

Responsibilities

• Perform GTAW (TIG) welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel piping.
• Read and interpret isometric drawings, spool sheets, and welding symbols.
• Prepare, fit, and weld pipe to required specifications.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools; follow safety procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and QC to ensure production flow.
