Job summary

FabLogix in Duncan, SC is hiring for a Back Pipe Welder on a day shift to support a state-of-the-art facility. Direct hire with pay $30–$35/hour, DOE, and a $125 per diem if over 50 miles. The role involves prefabricating pipes for cooling systems in data centers and fitting pipes for natural gas lines.

You will weld pipe spools to customer specs, read isometrics and spool drawings, and perform weld tests to verify code compliance, with opportunities for overtime, PTO, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of welding processes and procedures to ensure quality welds.
• Hands-on experience with GTAW, FCAW, GMAW, STT.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or less as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding work under direct supervision of the Welding Supervisor and Shop Superintendent.
• Follow all required PPE, safety policies, and procedures at all times.
• Weld fabricated pipe spools in accordance with customer specifications and required WPS.
• Read and interpret isometrics and 2D spool drawings.
• Determine and use the correct WPS for each weld being produced.
