Job summary

ShawnTech Communications, Inc. is seeking a Tablet Administrator for the London, OH facilities.

Under the direction of the State manager in service operations, you will perform tablet maintenance, RMAs, minor repairs, inventory tracking, and on-site visits. You will manage trouble tickets, coordinate with the FSM, ensure timely responses to inmate system issues, and maintain accurate daily listings of issued and available tablets.

Qualifications

• Some technical experience required.
• Knowledge in the use of hand tools.
• Basic computer skills for setup/troubleshooting.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Vehicle in good running condition.
• Pass a thorough background check.
• Self-starter; able to work independently.
• Work in a correctional environment with inmates.
• Good communication skills; work at multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Visit the assigned site per workday; visit once per week.
• On-site evaluate each reported broken tablet and process for RMA.
• Track and distribute inventory of inmate tablets at each site.
• Provide tablet and equipment tracking reports daily to the FSM.
• Inspect all inmate tablets and open trouble tickets for issues.
• Work with production to return and receive broken equipment on time.
• Distribute spare equipment as needed.
• Perform limited repair on inmates' tablets.
• Check inbox for inmate complaints and respond same day or escalate.
• Utilize trouble ticket database to view/maintain facility information.
• Manage day-to-day support functions for the tablet program.
• Other related duties as assigned.
