Job summary

Buyers Edge Platform is seeking a Tableau Data Architect to design scalable, governed Tableau data models powering our enterprise analytics ecosystem. The role partners with data engineering and analytics to deliver trusted reporting at scale, leveraging Tableau Cloud, Next, and AI-powered features.

You will own data governance, semantic modeling, performance tuning, and integration with upstream systems, guiding BI developers and stakeholders to a single source of truth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in business intelligence, data architecture, or analytics engineering.
• 3+ years focused on Tableau.
• Expert-level proficiency in Tableau Cloud including site administration, performance tuning, governance, and LOD expressions.
• Experience with Tableau Next AI features (Pulse, Copilot).

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise data governance framework within Tableau Cloud, including lineage tracking and data quality warnings.
• Design semantic data models to support Tableau Next AI features and ensure trusted metrics.
• Develop optimized semantic layers and certified data sources for dashboards and analytics.
• Tune dashboards, SQL, and indexing for performance improvements.
• Integrate Tableau Cloud with upstream systems and monitor data pipelines; automate refreshes and governance tooling.
• Lead BI developers and analysts, translating KPIs into technical solutions and best practices.
