Job summary

Innova Solutions Inc is seeking a Tableau BI Developer to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced Tableau dashboards in Charlotte, NC. This is a full-time contract role for 12 months with a hybrid arrangement (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL, data visualization expertise, and experience collaborating with stakeholders across levels to translate data into actionable insights.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Tableau BI Developer / Tableau Analytics Developer. Position type: Full-time, Contract Duration: 12 months (with high possibilities of extension) Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote). As a Tableau BI Developer / Tableau Analytics Developer, you will consider the following.

Position Summary

The Enterprise Business Intelligence Technology team is seeking a skilled Tableau Desktop Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations to support business intelligence and decision-making processes. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data visualization, and the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive and user-friendly Tableau dashboards and reports.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data solutions meet business needs.


• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.


• Optimize and maintain existing Tableau dashboards.


• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and visualizations.


• Stay updated with Tableau best practices and new features.

Primary and Secondary Skills

Primary Skill: Tableau. Secondary Skill: Alteryx. Tertiary Skill: Agile tools (Jira).

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with industry BI/Reporting toolsets including Tableau, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Qlik.


• Experience with connecting to Hadoop, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Netezza, Teradata, and SQL databases.


• Experience with Data Science integration and application (Python, R).


• Experience with ETL tools (Trifecta, Alteryx, SSIS, Informatica).


• Experience with programming languages (Python, APIs, Web Data Connectors, Tableau Extensions, JavaScript).


• Experience with Financial services data and large data volumes.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $62 - $65 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
