Job Description:

As a Tableau Architect, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-performance Tableau dashboards and visual analytics solutions, designing, building, and optimizing modern data platforms and BI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect data pipelines, modernize BI landscapes, and ensure high-performance, cost-effective solutions for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data architectures and ETL pipelines using tools like Matillion, dbt, and Python.
• Optimize and maintain data models and reporting layers in Snowflake, Redshift, and Databricks.
• Develop high-performance Tableau dashboards and visual analytics solutions aligned with business KPIs.
• Lead cloud data migrations and performance tuning initiatives.
• Act as SME on data engineering and BI modernization projects across industries including banking, healthcare, and retail.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and deliver proof-of-concepts to support technology evaluations.
• Manage Tableau Server installations, security, governance, and license optimization.
• Automate data quality validation and testing frameworks using tools like Airflow and Great Expectations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to organizational CoEs and thought leadership.

Mandatory Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering and BI solutions.
• Expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Matillion ETL.
• Strong experience with Tableau (Desktop, Server, Prep, APIs) and Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and data lake architectures (e.g., AWS S3, Glue, Iceberg, Delta Lake).
• Experience in performance optimization and cost-effective data engineering practices.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management and client-facing roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Matillion Associate Certification
• Experience with dbt Cloud, Alteryx, and Starburst/Trino
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
