Job Summary

This role involves operating a table saw outfitted with an automated fence, moving and cutting sheet materials, and ensuring accurate labeling and organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a table saw with an automated fence to cut and process sheet materials.
• Move, cut, stack, and label sheeting accurately.
• Read and interpret cut sheets, then enter data into the automated system (training provided).
• Organize and manage scrap materials efficiently.
• Complete daily checklists to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Perform routine maintenance on the table saw and related equipment.
• Clean and maintain the dust collector system, sometimes multiple times a day.
• Keep a clean and organized work area to maintain efficiency and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Valid U.S. driver's

Wood Framing or Shop Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience operating a table saw or similar woodworking equipment.
• Willingness to learn automated operation (training provided).
• Ability to read and input cut sheets into a computer system.
• Must be able to stand on your feet for multiple hours throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and move sheet materials weighing up to 80 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and company procedures.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to fifty pounds on a frequent basis and up to one-hundred pounds on an occasional basis; prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching is required on a daily basis. A full range of physical motion is required in order to operate manual and electrically-powered tools, and construction-related equipment. The ability to move throughout the building, including climbing stairs and to work at heights from ladders or scaffolding, in order to perform construction-related work is required.

Environment

Work is performed indoors and outdoors, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards.
