Job summary

Hollywood Casino at Greektown in Detroit is seeking energetic table game dealers to join our dynamic team. You will handle buy-ins, pays, and markers, ensure accurate handling, and deliver friendly, prompt service while adhering to game rules.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly in English, performs basic math, and has experience dealing at least one table game. High school diploma or equivalent and formal dealing training are preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Knowledge and ability to deal Dealer assigned game.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Skill in providing customers with an exceptionally enjoyable experience while performing functions of the position.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Has completed acceptable training program resulting in proficiency in dealing at least one casino table game.
• Dealing Experience (at-least two core games)

Responsibilities

• Apply skill in dealing individual games, providing prompt, accurate and courteous service in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Handle customer transactions for buy-ins, pay-offs and markers.
• Verify fills and credits to the game.
• Notify Games Supervisor of any irregularities in the play and/or transactions during the shift.
• Adhere to appropriate gaming regulations, policies and procedures.
• Take losing bets and pay winning bets according to established rules and procedures.
• Other job-related duties as assigned
