Position Summary
Reports directly to the Pit Boss and is responsible for the operation of assigned tables during the assigned shift and all personnel assigned to those tables. Responsible for adhering to the System of Internal Controls and federal cash reporting requirements. The Floor Supervisor may sign Request for Fill/Credit, Fill/Credit slips, table opener/closer, temporary opener/closer and federal cash reporting documents. The Floor Supervisor has access to the pit podium, pit area, table banks and cards and dice in play.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee total operation of the assigned pit area.
- Communicate information to incoming relief.
- Comply with all dealing procedures.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the procedure manual for games supervised.
- Ensure maximum game protection.
- Manage dealing rotation.
- Protect all sensitive equipment (cards, dice, shoes, etc.).
- Ensure strict compliance with the Sandia Casino System of Internal Controls.
- Train and develop supervisors’ skills.
- Accurately track bankroll of players and player buy‑in, average bet, and time played.
- Counsel and work with dealers on procedural problems.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards for all employees.
- Assist the Pit Boss with all duties.
- Handle customer problems and complaints effectively.
- Maintain proper bankrolls for all tables assigned.
- Accurately determine table win/loss.
- Serve as a role model for subordinates.
- Assist with tournaments and promotions.
- Track table drops accurately.
- Evaluate subordinates and complete performance appraisals.
- Promote the Player’s Club and sign new players up for card membership.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned or necessary.
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance, reporting as scheduled per the Attendance Policy.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide immediate supervision to front line team members, setting business parameters and delegating day‑to‑day tasks to achieve operational objectives.
- Offer guidance, training, counseling, recognition, and ongoing feedback primarily to non‑exempt staff members.
- Delegate and assign duties to the reporting staff clearly and concisely, setting performance expectations.
- Support management with administrative responsibilities as needed.
- Maintain a positive attitude, encourage support, and nurture morale among the team.
- Create a teamwork environment by communicating common goals and showing appreciation for team members’ contributions.
- Demonstrate relevant industry experience, often including previous leadership or supervisory roles.
Key Performance Indicators
This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used as a measurement of success. KPIs will be shared with all team members in this role, and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPIs as part of the performance review process.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma, GED certification, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of progressive responsible experience in casino Table Games.
- Minimum age 21 years.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Note: Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience requirements.
License / Certifications / Registrations
- Must obtain and maintain the required STGC Gaming License.
- Will require a pre‑employment and random drug screening.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
- Walking – Walking throughout the work area on various surfaces, both indoor and outdoor.
- Seeing – Ability to perceive the nature of objects by eye.
- Sitting – Sustained periods of sitting.
- Standing – Sustained periods of standing.
- Stooping – Bending body downward and forward, requiring full motion of lower extremities and back muscles.
- Talking – Expressing or exchanging ideas verbally, conveying detailed instructions accurately and clearly.
Working Conditions: Work is performed indoors. Hours may change with overtime required. Must be able to work long hours under stressful conditions. Exposure to smoke, common colds, influenza, dust, odors, and elevated noise levels. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft carpeted floors, cement structures, and surfaces. Duties may involve walking, standing for long periods, sitting, and crouching.
