  • Evaluates performance and analyzes deviations; takes corrective action when necessary.
  • Plans game types, house rules and limits; consults on appropriateness.
  • Ensures Table Games operations comply with gaming laws and regulations.
  • Reviews all performance appraisals and ensures timely submissions.
  • Performs additional duties as necessary.

Position Summary

Responsible for assisting the Director of Table Games with the overall Table Games operation and administration. Responsible for adhering to the System of Internal Controls, NIGC MICS, and federal cash reporting requirements. The Table Games Manager also performs as the Shift Manager during assigned shifts, with supervisory authority over all other Table Games employees. The Table Games Manager has the ability to sign Request for Fill/Credit, Fill/Credit slips, table opener/closer, temporary opener/closer, federal cash reporting documents, complimentaries, and promotional items. The Table Games Manager has access to the pit podium, pit area, table banks, and cards and dice in play and in Table Games storage areas. The Card and Dice room is accessible when escorted by Security. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervises, directs, and/or performs activities designed to provide quality customer service and establishes guest perception of the Table Games Department as that of exceptional hospitality and friendliness.
  • Assists in the development, management, and monitoring of the annual budget.
  • Schedules employee work hours for maximum utilization of workforce.
  • Interviews, auditions, hires, disciplines, and discharges employees, as necessary.
  • Observes employees in the performance of their duties to determine whether they are trained to meet the standards set for their respective positions. Ensures employee development through training for all games and employee relations.
  • Plans and implements policies, rules, and directives to accomplish department objectives. Improves and standardizes house rules and procedures.
  • Directs supervisors in coordinating the work of their assigned employees and assigned areas of responsibilities to assure shift continuity.
  • Ensures strict adherence to the Sandia Casino System of Internal Controls.
  • Directs and monitors supervisors and employees to ensure game protection and loss prevention techniques.
  • Evaluates and continuously compares the performance of the Table Games operations and standards. Analyzes abnormal deviations from the norm and takes corrective action when necessary.
  • Plans game types, house rules and limits. Consults with casino management on appropriateness and suitability.
  • Ensures Table Games operations comply with gaming laws and regulations.
  • Reviews all performance appraisals and ensures timely submissions.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
  • Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia.

  • Provides direct management and supervision to all reporting Team Members, typically for a larger department, operational area, or more complex professional department.
  • Functions as an advisor to the operations and sets goals that are results oriented, organized, and account for business challenges.

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of all reporting departments/operational areas.

This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success. KPI’s will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI’s as part of the performance review process.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in management or related field and five (5) years progressive and responsible experience in casino Table Games Management and Administration.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
License/Certifications/Registrations
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required STGC Gaming License.
  • Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
