Job summary

Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall, Las Vegas, is seeking a Floor Supervisor to oversee table games and employees, ensuring safety, integrity, and compliance with policies. The role involves coaching dealers, maintaining high customer service standards, and cultivating a strong player base to project a positive brand image.

The candidate will stand and supervise in the assigned area, need knowledge of two games, and be capable of enforcing regulations while supporting operational colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Two years of experience as a floor supervisor.
  • Knowledgeable about applicable gaming regulations and company policies.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of at least two games.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to obtain/maintain required certifications and licenses.

  • Maintain positive customer relations and evaluate play.
  • Calculate all payoffs.
  • Understand and monitor compliance with gaming regulations and policies.
  • Operate computer to access credit line and issue credit.
  • Resolve customer complaints or refer to shift manager when appropriate.
  • Evaluate designated team members’ performance on a yearly basis.
  • Inspect changes of cards and dice; inspect new equipment before allowing into play.

Job Description

Oversee table games and employees to ensure that the safety, integrity, security and Company and regulatory policies/procedures of the above are upheld. Supervise, coach, and support dealers. Maintain superior customer service by identifying, cultivating and improving the established player base working towards a positive Company image whenever possible.
