Job summary

Riverside Casino & Golf Resort in Iowa offers a Dealer School to start a career in the casino industry, teaching Blackjack, Poker and other popular table games.

Trainees learn to deal, shuffle, calculate payouts, exchange cash for chips, and pay winning bets; 18+ with no experience required. Must obtain Iowa Gaming License and be able to work in a loud, smoky environment. Full-time schedule includes days/nights/weekends. $15.00/hour including premium pay with 40 hours of Paid Time Off upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No experience is necessary.
• Ability to attend dealer school to learn policies and procedures of the games.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Gaming License.
• Must be able to quickly and accurately perform basic mathematical functions and calculate payouts mentally.
• Must be able to work in a loud, smoky environment with flashing lights.

Riverside Casino and Golf resort has an exciting opportunity to begin a career in the casino industry and attend Dealer School! We are dedicated to ensuring every graduate possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to become a qualified Casino Dealer. This course will teach you how to become a successful in the games of Blackjack, Poker and other popular table games.
