Bally's Corporation in East St. Louis, IL is hiring a casino dealer to build guest relations, proficiently deal Blackjack and novelty games, and monitor table monies.

You will ensure fair play, explain game rules, and uphold casino policies while maintaining a clean work area. Responsibilities include paying winnings, answering guest questions, completing government reporting, and working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Formación

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company.
• Gaming industry experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
• Must be proficient in dealing Blackjack and all novelty games offered.
• Deal the game and monitor the monies of the table at all times.
• Control gaming cards and equipment.
• Use table, shoe, and paddle correctly.
• Monitor guest play for cheating scams and suspicious variations in play.
• Pay winnings or collect losing bets as established by the rules and procedures of a specific game.
• Answer questions about game rules and casino policies.
• Complete all government reporting.
• Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.

Working Environment & Physical Efforts

• The hospitality industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation.
• This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures.
• Occasional exposure to outdoor climates
• Occasional: standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds
• Frequent: sitting, kneeling, reaching, pulling, pushing, and with repetitive movement of fingers, legs, arms, and hands
• Speech and Vision abilities are required.

Target salary rate: $ 9.00 per hour
