Job summary

The Test and Evaluations Systems Integrator will integrate and test software and hardware systems to ensure seamless operation across Linux, networking, and flight controllers.

The role requires hands-on electronics work, FAA Part 107, and leadership in flight test operations as RPIC, with collaboration across cross-functional teams to meet test requirements and

Qualifications

• Experience integrating and testing software and hardware systems.
• Linux system administration via command line.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
• Experience with hardware integration (sensors, cameras, embedded systems, radios, switches, MCUs).
• Ability to make wiring harnesses including soldering, crimping, fault isolation.
• Repair of avionics systems malfunctions.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.
• Ability to work extended hours.
• FAA Part 107 certificate.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve software and hardware issues.
• Integrate new hardware and software components into systems.
• Evaluate system performance and identify improvements.
• Configure and administer IP-based LAN and wireless networks.
• Configure and administer ArduPilot based flight controllers.
• Configure and administer embedded Linux systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet test requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Lead Flight Test Operations as RPIC, ensuring aircraft readiness and mission profiles.
