Job summary

R&P Technologies is seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer in Washington, DC, to join the CPS Program Office. The role focuses on test planning, security, execution, analysis, and reporting for hypersonic weapon systems across surface ships and submarines.

The candidate will support hardware/software testing, DoE-concepts, TEMP development, and verification plans while collaborating with government and contractor teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance required and ability to sustain one.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5 years of professional engineering experience, or a master's degree with at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire test cycle from planning to reporting to ensure tests run effectively.
• Provide hardware/software testing, modeling/simulation, and flight-testing support.
• Help develop TEMP and verification/validation plans and safety packages.
• Support component, subsystem, and system level testing to verify weapon system requirements.
• Assist in government test event planning and analyze test/modeling activities.
