Technology Service Corporation (TSC) seeks a Senior Aerospace Test Engineer to support the Naval Research Laboratory, leading advanced aerospace experimentation and shaping flight test campaigns.

The role covers ground and flight testing, wind tunnels, high-enthalpy testing, and captive-carry sounding rockets, with direct responsibility for objectives, configurations, instrumentation, and data acquisition; prior supersonic/hypersonic flight experience is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and an active security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years in aerospace experimentation with direct experience in supersonic and hypersonic flight and ground testing.
• Comprehensive expertise in aerospace test instrumentation and data acquisition.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee ground and flight testing programs (aerospace campaigns).
• Lead advanced wind tunnel and high-enthalpy testing, including full-scale vehicle wind tunnel work.
• Define objectives, mission requirements, vehicle configurations, instrumentation, and data acquisition for flight demonstrations.
