Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA invites applications for a Research Technician II in the Warren Lab. The role supports projects identifying Kaposi Sarcoma-associated peptides, engineering TCRs in Jurkat cells and primary CD8+ T cells, and evaluating cytotoxic responses to KS targets.

Strong lab skills and a hands-on approach are essential. Responsibilities include designing vectors, performing flow cytometry, ELISA, and data analysis, and maintaining specimen biorepositories.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of laboratory experience outside coursework.
• Preferred: sterile tissue culture, flow cytometry, and data analysis with R/Python.

Responsabilidades

• Interact collaboratively with the PI and staff to accomplish project goals.
• Conduct T-cell functional assays using established lab protocols.
• Maintain detailed notes, plan ahead, and ensure accuracy.
• Document unexpected outcomes and troubleshoot routine assays.
• Process and archive incoming nephrectomy specimens.
• Analyze data and present progress at group meetings.
• Assist with ordering supplies and handling cell lines.
