Job summary

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team in Berkeley, MO is seeking an Experienced or Senior Aero Performance Engineer to support the T-7A program. You will perform aerodynamic design, analysis, and flight test data interpretation to ensure performance meets requirements across test phases.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in engineering with a related degree; preferred aerospace background, Python experience, and wind tunnel testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years of work experience.
• US export control and security requirements apply to this position.
• Experience in aerospace field and flight testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs aerodynamic/aerothermodynamics design and analysis to meet requirements.
• Contributes to technology development to improve performance and reduce cost.
• Develops test requirements and coordinates flight test activities.
• Generates flight-manual quality plots and documentation from test data.
• Supports certification and qualification processes of aerodynamic/aero-thermal characteristics.
• Works under general supervision and assists in training others.
