Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace/Aeronautical or Materials Science).
• 3+ years CAD/CAM and mechanical design experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design special test equipment for production testing of tactical aircraft.
• Provide design-for-manufacturing and -assembly support to fabrication shops.
• Develop additive manufacturing solutions to improve cost, quality, and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and fabricator teams to execute designs.
• Resolve STE design issues to meet technical and quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Produce design documentation and high-level requirements for end users and customers.
• Perform detailed mechanical design development and modifications.
