Job summary

Amentum seeks a T-38 Aircraft Branch Manager to oversee the maintenance department for 63 aircraft and 90–100 personnel at Vance AFB. You will direct maintenance actions, enforce technical data usage, manage staffing per shift, and ensure accurate documentation in the Maintenance Information System.

Requires 7+ years supervisory aviation or manufacturing experience, DoD background, and ability to implement risk management while coordinating with production and safety teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in related field; eight years experience, five with DoD.
• Seven+ years supervisory experience in aviation, military, or manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret Government publications and apply risk management.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance, flight scheduling, and branch activities to meet safety and contract requirements.
• Ensures compliance with technical data, procedures, and proper resource adjustment.
• Assigns supervisory coverage and manages the maintenance planning cycle.
• Maintains safety standards, on-base disaster duties, and documentation in systems.
• Advises production on conditions affecting maintenance execution and outputs.
