County of Santa Clara is seeking a visionary Chief Pharmacy Officer to lead system-wide pharmacy strategy and governance across its health system. You will set enterprise medication management, lead safety programs, and guide digital strategy and regulatory readiness.

The role demands executive leadership of diverse teams, oversight of budgeting, 340B program management, and collaboration with Quality, Informatics, and Revenue Cycle to improve population health and equity across inpatient,

Qualifications

Valid California Pharmacist license.
At least five years of management experience overseeing multi-site pharmacy operations in a large health system.
Experience with regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, 340B program management, and large-scale pharmacy tech/EHR implementations.

Responsabilités

Provide executive leadership for system-wide pharmacy strategy and governance.
Oversee regulatory compliance with CA Board of Pharmacy, CMS, Joint Commission, DEA, FDA, CDPH.
Lead medication safety programs and quality improvement initiatives across the health system.
Direct pharmacy budgeting, 340B program management, and revenue-cycle partnerships.
Advance technology adoption, automation, and EHR medication workflows.
Develop and sustain equity and safety in medication-use practices.
Supervise senior directors, managers, and clinical leaders.
