Qualifications

• Copy editing, writing, and media relations skills are required.
• 7 years in communications with a health care provider or equivalent.
• Experience collaborating with health care professionals and subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements multi-media communications strategies for internal and external channels to support system-wide projects and campaigns.
• Creates and manages communications vehicles including press releases, newsletters, emails, and social content.
• Interacts with internal customers, BayCare leaders, and experts to gather information and draft content for dissemination to audiences (public, team members, media).
• Conducts media relations, including messages, materials, and scripts, and coaching for media interaction.
• Ensures content accuracy with fact-checking and appropriate reviews and approvals; supports issues management.
• Develops and monitors metrics to measure effectiveness and advise on program improvements.
