Job summary

Scripps Health is seeking an ED Tech to join the System-wide Resource Services Float Pool. You will provide direct patient care, assist nurses and physicians, monitor vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations across multiple campuses.

Night shifts, with full-time or part-time options. Requires BLS and California EMT/AEMT/Paramedic or CNA certification; one year of healthcare experience preferred. Travel between Encinitas, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, San Diego and Chula Vista.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• EMT/AEMT/Paramedic or CNA certification is required in California.
• One year of healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision.
• Assist nurses and physicians with clinical tasks.
• Perform basic vital signs assessment and apply simple dressings.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including draping and IV setup.
• Maintain room readiness and assist with patient transport when needed.
