Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Systems Test Engineer 2 to join the on-site Systems Test Engineering group. You will participate in climatic, vibration, and other testing activities for cutting-edge weaponry and provide test execution oversight from our Plymouth facility.

The role requires engineering credentials, data analysis skills (Excel, Matlab, SciPy), and strong communication. US citizenship is required; on-site work with possible travel and hazard exposure is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as MS Excel, Matlab, SciPy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test plans, coordinate with test facilities, provide test execution oversight, analyze test data and prepare final test reports.
• Perform climatic, vibration, mechanical shock, electromagnetic effects, bench testing of electronic devices, and safety and reliability testing.
• Handle hazardous devices with proper training, resolve test-related issues and support failure analysis.
• Data collection, reduction, analysis, and presentation.
• Ability to travel.
