Job summary

Acro Service Corp in Plymouth, MN is seeking an Engineer Systems Test 2 to support the Systems Test Engineering group. You will participate in climatic and environmental tests, analyze data, and prepare final reports for various electronic devices and test vehicles.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating facilities, and presenting results. Candidates should have a BS in engineering, strong data-analysis skills, and US citizenship; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as MS Excel, MATLAB, SciPy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be U.S. Citizen.

We are looking for an Engineer Systems Test 2 to support our Systems Test Engineering department. As a member of the Systems Test Engineering group, you’ll get to participate in a wide variety of dynamic and climatic test activities for cutting edge weaponory. This position will serve on-site at our facility in Plymouth, MN.

Basic Qualifications for Engineer Systems Test 2

• BS in Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as MS Excel, Matlab, SciPy, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications for Engineer Systems Test 2

• Experience with one or more of the following: climatic, vibration, mechanical shock, Electromagnetic Effects (EME), and Insensitive Munitions (IM) Testing
• Experience using test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, digital acquisition systems, etc.
• Understanding of energetic testing, components, and materials
• Familiarity with one or more of the following: MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-331, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-S-901, MIL-STD-2105, JOTP-052 and JOTP-053
• Experience using commercial and/or government test facilities for environmental, EME, or energetic test activities
• Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
