Systems Test Engineer

Job Summary:

• Systems Test Engineer will develop and perform execution of System Test Protocols and issues/bug reporting.
• Conducts ad-hoc, exploratory, and regression testing of Web Applications and/or Mobile Based Apps.
• For a smaller percentage of time may help to manage laboratory logistics for the client Remote Care Systems Engineering lab.

Job Responsibilities:

• Systems Test Engineer will perform a variety of duties involving system testing of Web Applications and/or Mobile Apps (Android and iOS).
• Understands the available authored test procedures, and conducts different types of test execution (Manual/Automated).
• Reports issues, re-test, and also conducts functional, regression, exploratory, and ad-hoc testing of the products.
• Assists in the overall evaluation of Product Quality.
• Applies knowledge of technical concepts and practices, and a complete understanding of product or systems fundamentals in a functional area, and working knowledge of other related disciplines.
• Systems Test Engineer will perform the job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
• Displays Accountability for work performed.
• Ensures a high-quality product is delivered to the customers by adhering to the Process (includes Regulations needs).
• Spends some minimal time keeping our Remote Care Systems lab in good condition with up-to-date equipment, software, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field.
• Experience in general engineering/science principles and laboratory skills.
• Ability to work on many projects concurrently.
• A quick learner to understand the domain, analyze data needs, have good communication skills, and participates in various forums as needed.
• Display initiative, creativity, and leadership in troubleshooting, suggesting alternatives, and making recommendations for continuous quality.
