Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced test and systems analysis professional to develop and direct comprehensive test plans for complex defense-focused environments. You will analyze results, define requirements with customers, and lead cross-functional teams in iterative testing and reporting.

The role requires a Secret clearance, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects across office, shipboard, field, and industrial environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field, or 13+ years with Master's in related field, or 10+ years with PhD/JD in related field.
• Secret clearance required.
• Strong technical writing background.
• Experience with Space Fundamentals, SATCOM, or EW in operational, research, or technical environments.
• Ability to define operational critical requirements with customers and design performance tests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and schedules.

Requirements

• 15 years relevant experience with bachelor's in related field, or 13 years relevant experience with master's in related field, or 10 years of experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field, or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience
• Possess and maintain a Secret clearance
• Demonstrated history of technical writing
• Demonstrated experience with Space Fundamentals, Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and/or Electronic Warfare (EW) in operational, research, or technical environments
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to define operational critical requirements with customers and design performance tests
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to work multiple projects, handle schedule changes and short suspense tasks
• Experience in current and emerging defense technologies and desire to learn new technology
• Capable of operating in office, industrial, shipboard, and field environments
• Capable of climbing ladders, tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variance for long durations
• Ability to hike uphill and downhill while carrying up to 25 lbs. of specialized equipment
• Lifting and moving materials within one-person lift guidelines
