Position Summary

Provides support for department technology systems, inventory management, and departmental documentation processes. Assists the Systems Specialist team with equipment tracking, onboarding activities, ticket coordination, and basic technical support tasks to help ensure efficient day-to-day operations across clinical and administrative environments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assists with inventory management activities including asset tracking, equipment audits, labeling, deployment preparation, and lifecycle documentation. Maintains accurate records for equipment assignments, repairs, replacements, and warranty information.
  • Coordinates shipment, receipt, and organization of technical equipment and supplies while maintaining storage areas, and supply inventory across departmental locations.
  • Maintains and updates departmental documentation including workflow procedures, contact lists, and system inventories.
  • Coordinates and tracks incoming support requests, work orders, and vendor service activities.
  • Assists with onboarding and offboarding processes for departmental hardware, peripherals, and user setup requests.
  • Performs basic hardware setup and deployment activities including workstation preparation, peripheral installation, cable management, and equipment relocation.
  • Assists Systems Specialists with office setups, equipment replacements, and general operational support activities.
  • Provides basic first-level support for simple hardware, peripheral, and workflow-related issues under supervision. Escalates technical issues appropriately to Systems Specialists or Lead Systems Specialists.
  • Maintains effective communication with departmental staff, vendors, and technical teams to support operational continuity.
  • Assists with tracking and recordkeeping required for regulatory, compliance, and operational standards.
Education
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
Experience
  • One to two years of administrative, technical support, inventory management, or operational support experience.
  • Experience with inventory systems, documentation management, or customer support environments.
  • Prior healthcare or IT support experience preferred.
