Job summary

re:Cycle Reverse Logistics LLC in Kentucky is seeking a Systems Support Engineer for its Failure Analysis lab at CVG110. You will build and maintain hardware and software testing environments, supporting multi-platform lab operations for a premier cloud platform.

You will own automation, monitoring, and reporting, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure reliability and scalability of test infrastructure across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Linux systems administration and/or development.
• Experience in at least two of: Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby or Bash/Shell.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Experience in a 24/7 production environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve testing environments for Failure Analysis of platforms and components.
• Develop and support automation, scripting, and engineering tools that improve testing efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Utilize source control, code review, change management, and deployment mechanisms to safely implement technical changes.
• Monitor infrastructure health, investigate failures, identify root causes, and drive issues through resolution.
• Develop and improve reporting, dashboards, technical documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and operational processes.
• Manage engineering work through established project and ticketing mechanisms, including ownership, deliverables, risks, and escalations.
• Support testing solutions throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements and deployment through sustainment and continuous improvement.
• Maintain required test infrastructure materials, components, and inventory.
