The Florida Department of State is seeking a Systems Programming Consultant to analyze and develop database solutions for the Florida Voter Registration System and related applications. Qualifications

4+ years of application development experience OR 2 years application development plus 2 years in another IT field
Experience with PL/SQL, T-SQL, P-SQL and MS SQL
Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases
Knowledge of Unix/Linux server administration
Bachelor's degree in computer science or management information systems preferred

Responsibilities

Analyze and develop database solutions for the Florida Voter Registration System and related applications.
Write SQL queries and scripts to support data extraction, reporting, and integration.
Design data models and manage database infrastructure including backups and performance tuning.
Assist in application development and provide DBA support to ensure reliability and performance.
