What you will be doing

This position is for a remote Systems Programmer Senior who would be working with high performance teams.

What you bring:

Knowledge / Experience

1. Advanced knowledge in an IBM iSeries (AS400) environment.
2. Basic knowledge in Windows applications & Windows Systems knowledge.
3. Exposure on working on Incident tickets, Problem tickets, Change tickets and Request Tickets.
4. Application Change assessment and validation during change windows over the week and weekend.
5. Monitors operations to ensure adherence to service level standards and company/department policies and procedures.
6. Ensures professional and courteous support services are delivered to promote a productive and positive relationship with end users.
7. Must be detail-oriented and customer-driven, focusing on providing the highest quality services to internal customers.
8. Other related duties assigned as needed.

Skills

1. Advanced knowledge of IBM iSeries (AS400) servers (required).
2. Basic Windows Server functionalities.
3. IBM MQ, BRMS, HMC, VIOS, SAN storage, and Advanced Job Scheduler (preferred).
4. ServiceNow.

Qualifications

1. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
