Job Description:

Estimated Length of Assignment: 12+ Months Possibility of Extension/Perm

Est. Pay Range: $40 – $60.00 on W2 All-Inclusive

Work shift (days/times): 1st shift

Required Experience:

• Preferred Systems Programmer V - Education/Experience Preferred: Yes
• Skill Set 1: CICS Systems Programming Skills
• Skill Set 2: z/OS Systems Programming Skills
• Skill Set 3: z/OS Diagnosis Skills

Scope of Responsibilities:

• CICS Support, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and SMP/E experience. Support of z/OS CICS monitoring products and tools.

Education and Experience Required:

• Combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or related work experience
• Experience reading and digesting technical information
• Detail-oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience interpreting and/or discussing information with others, including senior management, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people
• Strong customer focus, including proven experience managing customer needs and multiple work priorities
• Proven experience leading technical teams toward a common goal or project within a larger project. Strong project management experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Combined minimum of 10 years’ higher education and/or related work experience
• Certifications or special training in Related Technologies
• Familiarity with Rexx Scripting, Python, DB2, and MQ, as well as an interest in new Z technologies that span ISPF/TSO to GUI and modern applications.
