Job summary

Charles P. Johnson & Associates, Inc. (CPJ) is seeking a Systems & Network Technician to support 100+ users across multiple offices, handling end-user devices, servers, networks, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity tools, mobile devices, cloud services, and business applications.

You will contribute to technology modernization and automation while ensuring reliable connectivity and security. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot devices, maintain servers and backups, support SharePoint, and help

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of technical support experience in a business environment.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server.
• Familiarity with AD, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Hyper-V.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-focused communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, responsive technical support to employees in the office, remotely, and in the field.
• Troubleshoot and support computers, mobile devices, printers, software, and connectivity issues.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Hyper-V.
• Help maintain servers, networks, VPNs, wireless connectivity, backups, and disaster recovery systems.
• Support cybersecurity tools, endpoint protection, access controls, and security best practices.
• Support SharePoint, mobile device management, and other collaboration technologies.
• Help maintain CAD workstations and technology that supports engineering, GIS, surveying, and project teams.
• Contribute to cloud migration, infrastructure improvements, automation, cybersecurity, and other technology initiatives.
• Explore emerging tools, including Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled business applications, and identify opportunities to improve how we work.

What You'll Bring

• An associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of technical support experience in a business environment.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Hyper-V.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• A customer-focused approach and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative, and work independently when needed.

Even Better If You Have

Experience with SharePoint, Intune, Azure, PowerShell, Veeam, mobile device management, cybersecurity, CAD/GIS or engineering applications, automation, APIs, cloud migration, or AI-enabled technologies is a plus. Microsoft certifications are also welcomed.
