Job summary
The Town of Hudson seeks a Systems & Network Administrator to configure, manage, and secure its on-premises and cloud environments, focusing on Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Barracuda security/backup. The role supports server virtualization, enterprise networking, and municipal systems across departments including Police and Fire.
Responsibilities include provisioning user accounts, enforcing access controls, and contributing to cybersecurity
Qualifications
- Three+ years managing Microsoft 365 enterprise environments (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online).
- Experience with Windows Server, VMware, and enterprise networking.
- Experience with EDR/ITDR platforms like CrowdStrike.
- Knowledge of HPE Aruba Networking and Barracuda backup/recovery.
- Experience with SonicWall and Cloud Secure Edge VPN.
Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and secure on-premises and cloud environments.
- Administer M365 services, licenses, and Entra ID structures.
- Support server infrastructure, virtualization, and enterprise networks.
- Implement MFA, SSO, and conditional access policies.
- Monitor security threats and perform incident response and reporting.
- Provide end-user support for department systems and applications.
