Job summary

Threat Tec, LLC is seeking a Systems/Network Administrator to serve as Azure Administrator for the U.S. Army FTD in Orlando, Florida. You will help keep the cloud environment secure, available, and right-sized while supporting hardware and software that power Army training experimentation.

The role requires DoD clearance and a strong background in Azure, Microsoft 365, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity standards. You will collaborate with the Network Section and TIF to implement, monitor and document

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance at start.
• Bachelor's degree plus 16+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• DoDD 8140.01 / DoD 8570 compliant baseline certification (e.g., Security+).
• Hands-on Azure administration (Entra ID, governance, storage, compute, virtual networks).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Windows server/client environments.
• Experience with RMF documentation and DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Threat Tec is seeking a Systems/Network Administrator to serve as the primary Azure Administrator for the U.S. Army Future Training Directorate (FTD) in Orlando, Florida, and to support the FTD Network Section and the Technical Integration Facility (TIF). You will keep the directorate's cloud environment secure, available and right-sized while supporting the hardware and software that power Army training experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, manage and monitor identity, governance, storage, compute and virtual networks in a Microsoft Azure environment.
• Provision, size, monitor and adjust cloud resources; administer the Microsoft 365 environment supporting the directorate.
• Support the FTD Network Section and TIF with hardware setup, operating system and application installation and configuration, system security, upgrades, and backup and archiving.
• Diagnose and correct system deficiencies and prepare reports for management review.
• Develop documentation needed to acquire services, computer hardware and software.
• Support installation, configuration management and accreditation activities in accordance with DoD and Army directives.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance (must be active at start).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 16+ years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• DoDD 8140.01 / DoD 8570 compliant baseline certification for the assigned work role (for example, CompTIA Security+ CE).
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure administration (Entra ID, governance, storage, compute, virtual networking).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Windows server and client environments.
• Experience with RMF documentation and DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or higher.
• Experience with Azure Government or DoD Impact Level environments.
• Experience supporting labs, integration facilities or simulation environments.

$113,000 - $138,000 a year

Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors including experience, education, certifications, security clearance requirements, internal equity, and customer or contract requirements.
