Job summary

Arcfield is seeking a technically proficient engineer to perform planning, analysis, and system-level verification for large, complex systems. You will translate requirements into hardware and software specifications and support decision-making with simulations and models.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related fields, 0–2 years of experience, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Proficiency in Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, or R is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field with 0–2 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Strong computer literacy and quick learning of complex tools.
• Experience with Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, or R.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to describe system issues clearly.
• Ability to write and speak effectively in technical meetings.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and effectiveness analysis for total systems.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications through thorough analysis.
