Job summary

Emerg e Market in Cleveland seeks a seasoned WMS Architect to lead end-to-end implementations across global DCs, aligning design, configuration, testing and deployment with business goals.

The role acts as the functional and technical SME for platforms like Manhattan Associates, SAP EWM, and Blue Yonder, driving standardized warehouse processes, system integration, and governance while mentoring cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Warehouse Management Systems within supply chain and logistics environments.
• Proven track record of implementing WMS solutions across multiple distribution centers globally.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with one or more leading platforms, including Manhattan Associates, SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Blue Yonder (formerly JDA), or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end WMS implementations across multiple global distribution centers, encompassing design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Serve as the functional and technical SME for leading WMS platforms such as Manhattan, SAP EWM (Embedded and Decentralized), Blue Yonder, and similar solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable system solutions. Drive standardization of warehouse processes, system architecture, and integration patterns across regions.
• Coordinate with ERP, TMS, and automation systems such as robotics, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and conveyors to ensure seamless integration.
• Direct vendor selection, solution evaluation, and system roadmap planning.
• Provide strategic input on warehouse optimization, including inventory accuracy, picking strategies, labor management, and throughput improvements.
• Prepare and present executive-level presentations, business cases, and implementation roadmaps.
• Ensure strong governance, documentation, and compliance with IT standards and cybersecurity policies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to internal teams and external partners throughout project lifecycles.
