Job summary

Jobtailor in New York is seeking a Warehouse Systems Analyst to manage Manhattan SCALE WMS, install and configure SAP/WMS/WES, and develop business requirements for delivery teams and business partners.

You will analyze WMS (Manhattan SCALE) and WES (Bastian Exacta), lead discussions with stakeholders, and ensure system availability. The role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and detailed organizational skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS or SCM required.
3–5 years WMS maintenance experience required; DC industry background preferred.
Experience with Manhattan SCALE / Bastian Exacta systems.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Manhattan SCALE WMS and related systems.
Install, configure, test, and maintain SAP, WMS, WES, and other warehouse software.
Develop clear business requirements and design specs for delivery teams and partners.
Analyze WMS (Manhattan SCALE) and WES (Bastian Exacta) configurations.

Managing and monitoring Manhattan SCALE WMS
Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining SAP, WMS, WES, and other Warehouse S/W systems
Developing clear and detailed business requirements and design specifications that can be understood by other delivery teams and business partners
Analyzing WMS(Manhattan SCALE), WES (Bastian Exacta)
Working closely and lead discussions with stakeholders to elicit information to understand true business needs as User Stories
Exhibiting business process expertise in Warehouse Management
Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Serving as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance
Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customer
Willingness to travel to warehouse and distribution center locations as needed to support system operations, project implementations, testing, and user support

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Computer Science and SCM – Required
3-5 years WMS System Maintenance Experience – Required; Distribution Center industry background preferred
Experience with WMS(Manhattan)/Automation(Bastian) System
Warehouse Application System Operation knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinking and execution skills
Highly detail-oriented and organized
