The position oversees and is the primary point of contact and administrator for campus course scheduling in the student information system at the University of Georgia. The position performs several technical processes including system configuration and coordinates among 250+ course schedulers on campus as well as with the centralized class scheduling team in the Office of the Registrar to streamline technical processes and ensure data integrity in the student information system. The position administers the course scheduling calendar for the campus and provides a proactive approach to resolving course scheduling actions that negatively affect students’ registration and fee assessment. The position provides course data for submission for USG Academic Collection. The position serves as the liaison with department heads, Student Accounts, and Global Engagement for immediate resolution of course scheduling issues. The position operates independently with a great deal of autonomy and the ability to make decisions related to course scheduling.
