The Program Coordinator provides advanced administrative, operational, and programmatic support for the School’s research and outreach missions. The position serves as the primary administrative coordinator supporting the Associate Dean for Research and provides operational support to the Associate Dean for Outreach. Approximately 80% of the position’s effort supports research administration, faculty support, strategic planning, assessment, reporting, and special projects under the direction of the Associate Dean for Research, while 20% supports outreach planning, communications, data collection, reporting continuing education activities, and operational initiatives under the direction of the Associate Dean for Outreach. The incumbent performs and oversees a broad range of administrative functions and business processes that support faculty, staff, students, research programs, outreach initiatives, and School leadership. Responsibilities include project coordination, systems administration, reporting and assessment activities, strategic planning support, faculty evaluation support, database management, communications, stakeholder engagement, space planning, and operational process development. The position administers and maintains reporting systems and operational databases supporting research and outreach activities, including faculty productivity reporting, outreach activity reporting, continuing education administration, research program reporting, and assessment systems used for leadership decision making. The incumbent exercises substantial independent judgment in managing projects, coordinating stakeholders, solving operational problems, implementing administrative procedures, and recommending process improvements that advance School objectives.
