Job summary

Incendia Partners in Manhattan seeks a Systems Lead to own IT and internal systems end-to-end, including the macOS fleet, networking/VPN, SaaS access, and SOC 2 compliance in Vanta. This is a build role, sitting alongside executive leadership to establish IT operations, security, and processes from scratch as the company scales.

You will support a hybrid team, ensuring reliable connectivity for in-office and remote employees, and partner with finance and security to translate technical risk into

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience securing SaaS access and devices.
• Experience building IT infrastructure and processes from scratch.
• Familiarity with security best practices (MFA, least privilege).

Responsibilities

• Own macOS fleet management, procurement, imaging, enrollment, patching, and offboarding.
• Manage networking, VPN, and remote access for hybrid work.
• Oversee SOC 2 compliance activities with external auditors and internal security lead.
• Control access provisioning, SaaS permissions, and identity management.
• Drive cybersecurity initiatives and vendor security reviews.
• Design and scale IT infrastructure and tooling for a fast-growing org.
• Coordinate hybrid enablement, AV setup, and cross-team collaboration.
• Partner with exec leadership to translate risk into business terms.
• Provide frontline IT support and document repeatable processes.
