Job summary

Design Solutions and Integration in Midland, Texas is seeking an experienced Instrumentation/Automation professional for oil field automation. The role covers onsite startup, troubleshooting, and programming of PLC, HMI, ROC, and SCADA systems across Permian Basin oil fields.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree or higher in Instrumentation/Automation/Controls and at least four years of oil field automation experience; a valid driver’s license is required and drug testing may apply.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Instrumentation/Automation/Controls type program.
• Four years’ oil field automation experience with PLC, HMI, and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of CTB, SWD, Well pad, LACT, Compressor, Pipeline, Storage.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass follicle drug test if required.

This position is in Midland, Texas working in the Permian Basin oil fields. We are looking for oil field experienced, self‑motivated, assertive, dependable individuals. 5 days a week, 10 hours a day, overtime varies. Driving to, between, and from locations in the field daily is required in the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexico.
